    1) From Seoul to Nami Island Ferry Dock

    There are plenty of public transportation options connecting Seoul to Nami Island. However, as the island sits in the middle of a river, visitors must take a ferry for the final leg of the journey. Here are some ways to reach the Nami Island ferry dock from Seoul:

    (1) Trains & Subways

    Sangbong Station to Gapyeong Station (Seoul Subway Gyeongchun Line)

    Take the Gyeongchun Line from Sangbong Station on Seoul Subway Line 7 or the ITX-Cheongchun train from Yongsan Station or Cheongnyangni Station to Gapyeong Station. The journey takes about an hour. From Gapyeong Station, it’s a 30-minute walk or a 5-minute taxi ride to the Nami Island ferry dock.


    (2) Bus

    An intercity bus from Dong Seoul Bus Terminal to Gapyeong Bus Terminal takes about 1 hour and 10 minutes. The first bus departs at 06:45, and the last at 20:50, with 10 departures daily. Gapyeong Bus Terminal is about 3 km from the Nami Island ferry dock, so taking a taxi from the terminal is recommended.


    (3) Shuttle Bus

    Shuttle bus services from major areas in Seoul, such as Hongdae, Myeongdong, and Dongdaemun, to the Nami Island ferry dock are available (online reservation required).
