DaWoo Resort with views of the sunrise over Jeongdongjin from all rooms

In front of Deungmyeong Beach in Jeongdongjin, which boasts clean and clear water, is the Dawoo Resort, embraced by the vast Donghae (East Sea). The resort is situated in the very vicinity of the beach that guests can reach by walking just 150 meters from the lobby. Deungmyeong Beach is a secluded, serene beach, making it a great place to spend some quiet time relaxing. The long pine tree trail that forms along the seaside road in front of the resort is perfect for a refreshing walk.

DaWoo Resort was designed to allow its guests to appreciate the view of the sunrise over Jeongdongjin from all rooms. With a total of six types of rooms, the resort provides its guests with a variety of options according to the number of people in their party. While most of its guests are family travelers, there is also high demand from group tourists for school or company gatherings. In addition, the resort also attracts travelers who visit Jeongdongjin for various leisure activities, located nearby paragliding spots.

Of the total 50 rooms, 47 are equipped with cooking facilities. Guests can freely cook in these rooms and make special memories while dining outdoors, watching the sea from the terrace furnished with a table and chairs.

DaWoo Resort also has a swimming pool that started operating last year only in the summer season, starting from mid-July. On days when it is hard to swim in the sea due to high waves, the swimming pool can be a good alternative. There is a barbecue area next to the pool, allowing guests to enjoy swimming and barbecuing at the same time. DaWoo Resort is planning to make some big improvements in its facilities within the year, including the installation of VR facilities in the basement and the construction of a bridge connecting the East and West Halls of the resort. In addition, the rooftop will be renovated into a sky garden and a photo area before the next summer season.
