Have you ever fallen in love at first sight? Your heart beats fast, your eyes are bright and joy fills your soul. You feel alive, excited, and full of energy. Just close your eyes, feel the fresh breeze of early morning - the sun is shyly rising through a clear blue sky. You are at the beach, the weather is perfect, and you are in love. You open your eyes and you take a deep breath, you punch yourself to wake up from the dream, but you realize it is the truth, you are here in Busan.
I can’t describe how much I love this city. Busan has many beautiful places where you can go and be amazed. You will fall in love with this city just as I did.
Busan is located in the southeastern part of the Korean Peninsula. There are multiple ways to reach Busan. However, the two more common ways to go there are by either public bus or train. Taking the bus is around 4 hours; it is convenient to book your bus ticket at https://www.kobus.co.kr. For the train, you can check http://www.letskorail.com/.
After I booked my ticket, it was time to choose my accommodation. Busan has many strategic locations where you can find hotels, so I recommend you to first choose the tourist places you would like to visit and then book your hotel accordingly. My hotel was near Busan Station, which means it was more convenient to take the train rather than the bus to Busan. The hotel was near many tourist attractions, including Nampo-dong, a famous shopping place in Busan.
In my mind, this is what I envisioned: long walks along the beach, contemplating the blue sky and enjoying the sunset. Busan has many places where you can enjoy beautiful beaches. Let’s start with the first spot - Gwangalli Beach.
Gwangalli Beach has many coffee shops and restaurants where you can have your lunch in front of the beach. In summer, it is a famous destination for swimming and beach activities. As I walked around, I thought that it would be a good idea to have a coffee in one of these coffee shops. I chose one, and enjoyed drinking my coffee with a beautiful view of the beach. Later, I decided to start walking on the other side of the beach. As I walked, I began to approach Gwangan Bridge. I couldn’t even imagine how beautiful this bridge would be lit up at night. If you come here at night, you can also enjoy some outdoor music performances.
Busan will never cease to surprise you with its variety of amazing scenery. This time I decide to visit a different place.
I went to the Jeolyeong Coastal Walk in Yeongdo-gu. This place is well known by locals for having one of the most beautiful coastal views in Busan. It is within walking distance from Nampo-dong. As I reached there, I mentally prepared myself for a long walk.
I recommend that you wear comfortable shoes so you will be ready to walk a lot. As you start walking, you will see behind you the majestic view of Namhang Bridge.
As you continue walking, you will see in front of you the entrance of Huinyeoul Coastal Tunnel. The inside of the tunnel is artistic, just perfect for great pictures. When you exit the tunnel, you will find stairs; these stairs will lead you to some coffee shops near the sea.
When I go to Busan, I love to take my time and enjoy myself as much as I can. I feel full of energy and happy to start my busy week afterward.
It is important to choose your accommodation wisely, especially when you are planning to stay for more than one night. You can choose it according to the locations you would like to visit. The B.S Hotel was located near Busan Station, a convenient location for when you take the train from Seoul to Busan. I had high expectations for this hotel in term of comfort, hygiene, and service. The hotel didn’t disappoint me at all.
As I headed to the hotel, I was impressed by the design; the dark tone of the walls reflected warmth and simplicity. I liked how simple yet elegant it was. At the reception, the hotel staff were friendly and welcoming.
One staff member took the initiative to give me information about the hotel and the surrounding tourist attractions. She also gave me the key to my room with a warm smile.
The room was warm, comfortable, and clean. There were two bathrobes hanging on the wall. I decided to take a shower in order to get ready for my day in Busan. Near the hotel, there is a Chinatown.
You can find many Korean and international restaurants nearby as well. The hotel is two stations away from Nampo-dong, a famous shopping area in Busan. If you go at night, don't forget to have some street food in the BIFF square.
The B.S Hotel is also just a few stations away from Seomyeon, the area where young people hang out. There, you can find many restaurants, coffee shops, and bars. It also provides many areas for shopping in addition to its highly popular underground shopping.
