The Korea Temple Food Center lets visitors sample the taste and wisdom of Korean temple food that has been passed down for 1,700 years. Various exhibitions, experience programs, and a curriculum are in operation to promote the excellence of Korean temple cuisine. The most popular activity is the center’s cooking class where participants cook temple food according to special recipes adapted to seasonal changes. Equipped with clean and convenient cooking facilities, along with a real Buddhist chef as an instructor, visitors can have the benefits of a formal cooking class. A one-day class for foreigners is also available every Saturday morning.
