    1. Airplane

    Taking an airplane is the fastest way to get to Jeju Island. You can search for domestic flight routes and the closest airport to you. Most travelers depart from Gimpo International Airport in Seoul or Gimhae International Airport in Busan, but there are flights from other airports as well.

    2. Ferry

    Ferries are a popular means of transportation because you can enjoy the ocean view while traveling. There are ferries capable of transporting passenger cars and motorcycles making it a great choice for travelers who wish to drive their own vehicles on Jeju Island. You can fully enjoy the beautiful seascape, and even the sunrise and sunset over the horizon. There are sleeping cabins so you can enjoy the unique experience of waking up in the middle of the sea.

    1. Mokpo Port Passenger Terminal

    This terminal in Mokpo, Jeollanam-do has ferries depart to Jeju Island as well as various islands of Jeollanam-do including Heuksando, Hongdo and Gageodo islands. A passport or personal ID is required when boarding a ship. It takes approximately 15 minutes to reach by city bus from Mokpo Station.

    2. Nokdong New Port Coastal Ferry Terminal

    This terminal in Goheung, Jeollanam-do has ferries depart to Jeju Island as well as various islands of Jeollanam-do including Heuksando, Hongdo and Gageodo islands. A passport or personal ID is required when boarding a ship. It takes approximately five minutes to reach by city bus from Nokdong Bus Stop.

    3. Yeosu EXPO Passenger Ferry Terminal

    This terminal is located in Yeosu, Jeollanam-do and has ferries that depart to Jeju Island. A passport or personal ID is required when boarding a ship. It takes approximately seven minutes to reach on foot from Yeosu EXPO Station. Passenger check-in closes 10 minutes before departure so make sure to arrive on time.

    This terminal is located in Wando-gun, Jeollanam-do and has ferries that depart to Jeju Island. A passport or personal ID is required when boarding a ship. It takes approximately five minutes by taxi from Wando Public Bus Terminal. Passenger check-in closes 10 minutes before departure so make sure to arrive on time.

    This terminal is located in Sacheon, Gyeongsangbuk-do and has ferries that depart to Jeju Island. It takes about 7 minutes from Samcheonpo Terminal by taxi.
