The fall nighttime admission period at Gyeongbokgung Palace has started, running September 1 through October 29.
Nighttime visitors can explore the main buildings of the palace, starting from Gwanghwamun Gate, the main gate of the palace. During the nighttime admission period, visitors can explore the palace from 19:00 to 21:30, with last admission being at 20:30.
Nighttime admission operates completely by reservation, with a limit of 2,900 tickets per day. While online reservations are required for both domestic and international visitors, international visitors can purchase up to two tickets on-site (limited to 200 tickets on a first-come, first-served basis) when showing their passport at the Gwanghwamun Ticket Booth. The admission ticket cost 3,000 won, but is free for visitors wearing hanbok.
