The Korea Tourism Organization (KTO) hosted the K-tourism Roadshow “Korea Travel Fair 2023” in Singapore from May 12 to 14. It was a large-scale event that saw the participation of 225 Singaporean and Korean personnel who are involved in the tourism industry, and offered a variety of marketing strategies and events to promote Korean culture and tourism.
This year’s roadshow started out with an introduction to the Visit Korea Year 2023-2024, and continued with promotions for large international events such as the Suncheonman International Garden Expo and supporting Busan World Expo Expo, as well as promotional booths selling tour packages. Other major promotional events included Travel Talk Show with actor Lee Do-hyun from the drama “The Glory (2022)” and entertaining performances like pungmunlnori, taekwondo demonstration, Pororo, K-pop dance, and K-drama live orchestra. In addition, K-friends planned a mini meet-up with K-friends members in Singapore as well as gave out gifts to attract new members on K-friends Day.
While the in-person roadshow has ended, the roadshow continues online until May 31.The online roadshow presents themed travel such as wellness attractions and K-drama filming locations, while promoting Korea travel packages along with promotions that are exclusive to the roadshow.
