Synopsis
The musical "Inside William" portrays the chaos that unfolds when characters from Shakespeare's scripts, who were once confined within the pages of the plays, break free and come to life outside the manuscripts. The musical presents a fresh and unprecedented perspective with the introduction of characters like Hamlet, who yearns to be a poet, Juliet, who resists traditional notions of marriage, Romeo, who craves to be the protagonist, and the perplexed writer Shakespeare observing them. Together, they bring a unique dynamic to the unfolding story.
Set in the new "Paradise," the characters in this work embark on a journey to discover their own desired endings, defying the endings that the writer and the world wish for them. "Inside William" cleverly explores the desire to become the protagonist of one's own story, rather than being confined to the predictable roles of famous works. It poignantly sings about the significance of a life that is inherently valuable, even without being extraordinary.
By skillfully incorporating Shakespearean references, infusing literary depth, and incorporating diverse music, the musical achieves a remarkable level of completeness.
