    All About Craftwork: Seoul Museum of Craft Art

    Seoul Museum of Craft Art is the first museum dedicated to craftworks that presents a traditional Korean collection ranging from traditional craftworks made centuries ago to more contemporary ones. It is also a platform where craft knowledge and records and human and environmental studies are shared along with the beauty and cultural values of craftworks. The museum has a collection of about 20,000 pieces of craftworks and data. Among these are the designated treasures, such as the withFolding Screen of Embroidered Sagye bungyeongdo (Potted Plants During the Four Seasons) and the Embroidered Monk’s Outer Vestment. The withformer is the oldest remaining embroidered folding screen that depicts flowers and bonsai according to the season. The children’s museum inside offers interesting experience programs where children can design clothes and weave fabric themselves like real artisans.

    Jungsik Seoul, Two Michelin Stars for Five Consecutive Years
