Wooyang Museum of Contemporary Art has been helping to enhance the local culture and its arts with exhibitions that introduce the flow of contemporary art and sympathize with people from different walks of life. The museum houses works of leading Korean artists such as Nam June Paik and Yoo Youngkuk, as well as works in various fields such as painting, sculpture, and video art. Every year, special exhibitions and experience programs are held to present timely collections. At the sculpture park, which was built along the nearby lakefront promenade, nature is in harmony with the works of world-class artists.
