50-158 Gyo-dong, Wansan-gu, Jeonju-si, Jeonbuk-doThis hanok accommodation is conveniently located near Gyeonggijeon Shrine in Jeonju Hanok Village, the heart of the area with great accessibility. Originally built in 1933, the building was recently renovated to serve as a unique place to stay.
The Byeolchae building features both two-person bedroom and ondol room options, while the Bonchae unit is ideal for groups of 4 to 6, offering an entire section of the building. With a variety of room sizes available, you can choose one that suits your preferences and needs.

This hanok accommodation offers six studio units and four hanok buildings for rent in Jeonju Hanok Village. With a variety of room types and arrangements available, you can select the one that best suits your needs.
Sunshine Full’s six studio units are all ondol rooms, meaning that they feature heated floors and are designed for bedding on floors. The rooms can accommodate 2 to 6 guests, depending on their size.
Sunshine Full also offers four house units - three in Jeonju Hanok Village and one in the nearby Jaman Mural Village. Some are equipped with indoor and outdoor Jacuzzis, and one is a two-story building. The unit I visited, House 1 [Yuyuhi], had recently reopened after renovations. It combines the elegance of hanok with modern design sensibilities. I was particularly impressed by the Jacuzzi.

There’s a saying in Korean “It’s just like my grandmother’s house out in the countryside” to describe a place that feels warm and comfortable. In Jeonju Hanok Village, Hanok Moryeon is that place. Its pebble-lined street floor, green garden, and large persimmon trees evoke the charm of idyllic rural homes in Korea.
There are two buildings, Bonchae and Byeolchae, both of which can be rented in their entirety. When renting a whole building, the number of rooms can be adjusted based on the number of guests. You can rent out up to 5 rooms in total, accommodating up to 10 guests.
Hanok Moryeon
This elegant hanok building is located near the Won Buddhism Gyodong Temple in Jeonju Hanok Village. It became even charming after this year’s remodeling.
Stay Hanul’s courtyard is designed like a small garden to capture the hearts of its guests. It features a long, rectangular pond with a toenmaru (an open-floor space) extending over it, reminiscent of a pavilion - a perfect spot to sit and peacefully listen to the sound of flowing water.
The indoor space is decorated with contemporary sensibilities. The bedroom, along with the view of the garden from the tea corner by the window wall, is simply picturesque.
The indoor Jacuzzi bath, located next to toenmaru that leads to the garden, is the perfect place to unwind after a long day of travel.
If you’re looking for a unique and memorable place to stay for your special trip to Jeonju, spend a night at Stay Hanul.
