First launched in 1957 as the Miryang Cultural Festival, it has grown into one of Gyeongsangnam-do’s leading regional festivals. Visitors can enjoy the Miryang Arirang Competition, Arirang-themed experiences, and a variety of traditional cultural programs. The highlight of the festival is Miryanggang Odyssey, a fantasy musical brings together thousands of years of Miryang’s history and the spirit of Miryang Arirang.
