The Korea Tourism Organization revamped the VISITKOREA mobile app in July 2023. 

VISITKOREA mobile app is a Korea travel guide app that has been providing information on tourist attractions, foods, accommodations, shopping, festivals, and more since 2011. In 2019, the app expanded its services to accommodate more users by transitioning into a comprehensive app in English, Japanese, and simplified Chinese. In 2023, the app integrated with the VISITKOREA website to serve as a comprehensive platform.  

With the integration, VISITKOREA members can log in to the app with the same account. The app also offers app-exclusive benefits and notifies users of events and important announcements in addition to new content that reflects current travel trends. Moreover, the app now supports traditional Chinese, expanding its services to a larger crowd. 

VISITKOREA mobile app has now become an essential app for travelers to Korea who seek convenient access to attraction recommendations, event notifications, and tour and activity options. Travelers can also create travel plans and receive suggested itineraries based on their preferences with the new Travel Planner feature.
