The man-made lake at the center of Songdo Central Park is famous for offering a number of boats that come in a range of shapes and sizes. The boats become even more fantastic when seen at night, lit up in a rainbow of colors. The most popular boats are the moon boats, shaped like a crescent moon, and the flower boats, decorated like a horse-drawn carriage from a fairy tale book. The boats can easily be driven with either a stick or a switch, but the rocking motion makes them more thrilling than one would expect. The moon boats are limited to three passengers, and can be rented for 30 minutes. Reservations are completely on-site only, and can fill up fast, so be sure to visit early if you want to board a moon boat!
