Korea’s representative performance arts festival, 2023 Welcome Daehakro will be held October 14-28 throughout the Daehangno area. The festival started in 2017 and has grown to showcase 37 different performances, 17 more than last year!  

The main programs include the opening ceremony, with celebratory performances and a flash mob; offline performances in theaters throughout Daehangno; K-stage, showing six performances with language support in five different languages through streaming services such as YouTube and NaverTV; free outdoor performance “Fringe”; and a Daehangno Tour, showcasing all the attractions and charms of the area.  

A new addition to this year’s festival is the Theater Market. This event provides information on the various packages relating to performance arts, attended by over 100 people related to the festival, including producers and distributors, travel agencies, MICE operators and more. This addition aims to upgrade the festival into the business and networking sector.
