Among people living in this stressful contemporary society, “therapy” is an occurring term. There are numerous types of therapy including aromatherapy, music therapy, color therapy, and detox therapy. Among them, “tea therapy” is probably the easiest to come by in your daily life. A cup of tea in your busy life means a rest. If you struggle with chronic fatigue and stress, you are encouraged to drink tea, which is good for health, rather than coffee. Tea therapy is a healthcare method that helps you restore your health by drinking healthy tea and taking an advantage of its nutrients. It can not only keep your body hydrated and nourished but also help you find peace of mind. Tea Therapy is a place of relaxation achieved by tea, founded by Professor Lee Sangjae at School of Korean Medicine, Pusan National University. By running a Korean medicine clinic and a café in Apgujeong-dong, Seoul, he came up with a new concept of herbal tea. He sampled all the medicinal herbs used at the Korean medicine clinic and carefully selected the ones with excellent flavors and notes. He created Tea Therapy to promote the excellence of tea that contains both delicious and heathy ingredients. If you live in this contemporary society, you must have experienced the symptoms such as insomnia, indigestion, and headache at least once in your life. These symptoms are not severe enough to see a doctor but make your day difficult. They occur not because you are sick but because you are stressed, you have worked too much, or your body is off balance. It is a cup of tea that can treat such light symptoms.

Delicious Tea That Can Change Your Perception of It as “Something Bitter”

When you think of medicinal tea, you might assume that tea would taste bitter. Medicinal tea would probably remind you of a thick, bitter herbal concoction. However, Tea Therapy is proud to offer a wide range of medicinal tea that can be easily served in three minutes just like delicious herbal tea from other countries. The key to removing bitterness from medicinal tea is the tea serving method.

If you don't know which of the various tea flavors to choose, try the simple test at Tea Therapy. There are different tea types that will suit you depending on whether you are a heavy person, how you walk or what your digestion is like. Every tea has its own description. If you feel pain behind your eyes or in your shoulders from stress, then you might want to try the local “Hyangtong” tea. If you're tense all the time and can't sleep well, maybe try the “Anshim” tea with jujubes.

Tea Therapy’s tea blends are available for sale so that you can easily enjoy them at home as well. Available tea blends include burdock tea for relieving constipation and getting fair skin, ginger tea for preventing an upset stomach or a cold caused by the cold energy in your body, and quince tea for relaxing muscles.

Relaxing with a Cup of Tea in a Place with the Good Ambience

If you want to enjoy tea in a cozy and classy environment, you are welcomed at Tea Therapy Haengnang Branch. Haengnang Branch gives off elegant vibes in the city center as a result of renovating a part of Former President Yun Posun’s house. Just like at other cafés, you can easily order and enjoy a cup of tea. What differentiates this place is that it has a space for enjoying a foot bath. Once you go outside the café, a foot bath made with red bricks comes into sight. If you soak your feet in the warm water with a bath bomb and enjoy the cup of tea you have ordered, you will start to feel warm and comfortable. Soaking your feet in the warm water itself can make your tiredness go away. As long as you are a customer, you can enjoy a foot bath.
