In 2006, the entire passenger terminal was reconstructed, and now features an overpass that connects the airport entrance to the international departure area. The parking facilities were also upgraded to accommodate more than 1,000 cars. Moreover, the airport saw the addition of <Sky City>, a huge shopping complex replete with a movie theatre and many other leisure facilities.

Transportation
1.	Subway
	Gimpo Airport is connected to Gimpo Airport Station on Seoul Subway Line No.5, by an underground passageway. The subway is the most convenient and cheapest transportation option to Seoul. Fare from Jongno 3(sam)-ga Station to Gimpo Airport: 700 won / Travel Time: 45 min.
