| This festival celebrates the herbs Mt. Jirisan, which are commonly known to have great medicinal properties, making this the perfect event for all visitors eager to improve their health through natural remedies. At this festival visitors will be exposed to a wide variety of Korea’s medicinal herbs and medical traditions. You will even be able to sample traditional Oriental medicine cuisines made from medicinal herbs, and there are plenty of other events on the festival program. Visitors can sample herbs for free, and herbs are available for purchase at discounted prices, there are even herbs which visitors can grow themselves at home. |

| Take a cross-country bus from Seoul Nambu Terminal (first bus at 6:20am, last bus at 12:00am; departs every 30 minutes / est. travel time of 3hrs) or from Dong Seoul Terminal (departs at 4:30pm / est. travel time of 3hrs 10min) to Sancheon Terminal. The festival is located 5 minutes on foot from the Sancheon Terminal. |
