| The Busan International Dance Festival (BIDF) is one of the largest dance festivals
in Korea, with over 200 performances by 160 dance teams. Dancers taking the stage in Haeundae
hail from all over the world (Korea, India, Estonia, Israel, Venezuela, China, Ireland, Russia, France, Japan, and the United States). Marking its 8th anniversary this year, the Busan International Dance Festival will be held under the theme of “Dance! Embrace the Ocean,” and will take place on the Haeundae Special Stage and in the Busan area. In the festival, visitors can be assured to experience an eclectic mix of dancing that showcases a variety of excellent dance styles: classical ballet, modern dance, Samulnori (Korean percussion music), traditional Korean dance, B-boying, and more. |
