| Gungmangbong Recreational Forest is
located in Gyeonggi
Pocheon-si, Gyeonggi-do. Since Jangam reservoir is located among its
surroundings it is possible to experience the beautiful valley while walking
its premises and through the nearby forest. Each < Sinnobong > and <Gungmangbong> are located at eastside and Westside of Gungmangbong Recreational Forest. Within the recreation forest there are over sixty-three of big cone pine tree, pine tree, and larch. In addition, what is special about their feature is that animals and plants maintain their natural condition and inhabit as it is. Within this recreation forest there are <Sinno Valley> and <Jeongam Waterfall> making its place a very famous summer vacation destination. As for its main facilities there are promenades, forest baths, and a playground. Lodging facilities include Forest Cabin and a few others. Visitors can enter from 07:00 until 18:00. Those wishing to reserve by phone must do so two days in advance and leave a deposit. |
