The Korea Tourism Organization - London Office services
the UK, Ireland and Scandinavian markets for the promotion of
tourism to Korea. Our work is essentially to provide information,
knowledge and expertise for the UK travel trade, press and consumer
markets, about the main tourist areas of Korea.
For the general public we can assist them with travel related
inquiries through direct contact to our office or through our
representation at travel fairs and exhibitions. We have a wide
and varied selection of promotional guides and leaflets.
Our office can assist the travel trade through educational seminars
and press trips, presentations, provision of information and
brochure display materials, video and slide transparency loans
and of course assistance with the development of tour products
to Korea, through financial assistance and transfer of expertise.
From a public relations and communications point of view, the
KTO London is constantly feeding information to the media through
'press releases', press trips to the destination, provision
of statistical information and video (beta-cam) footage used
for various media projects.
The Korea Tourism Organization - produces a worldwide
strategic marketing plan that each branch
office works towards within their own markets.
The overwhelming success of the FIFA World
Cup 2002 has provided a marketing vehicle
to increase the profile of our destination
and we are working with regional governments
in our country to promote Korea to the international
community with targeted marketing campaigns.
The KTO London is currently working with
major tour operators to create a range of
packages including special interest tours.
We also promote the destination through
various media channels, such as, advertising
campaigns in major travel publications,
satellite TV, terrestrial TV stations, the
tube and bus network in London. |
