    Introduction
    About 2,000 old Korean kitchen utensils and tteok (rice cake) related items are displayed here and arranged by various themes. The displayed utensils are handmade household necessities that are ingenuous, yet reveal the lifestyle of the working class. The elderly may relive fond childhood memories and the younger generation can experience the wisdom of ancestors through the rare kitchen utensils.

    Programs Available for Foreigners
    Individual hands-on experience programs

    Time: Monday- Saturday (11:00, 15:00) for 30 min per each class
    Participation Fee: 10,000 won (* Admission to the museum charged separately)
    Open to visitors of age over 4.

    Time: Monday- Saturday (10:00, 13:00, 14:00, 16:00) for 2 hours per each class

    Participation Fee: 10,000 won
    Recommended for pre-schoolers
    * Minimum number of participants: 50 people

    1) Tteok making tools and equipments from different period of time
    Exhibition tour with commentator
    2) One kind of tteok making practice and tasting
    Participation Fee: 10,000 won
    Recommended for pre-schoolers and children in elementary school
    * Minimum number of participants: 20 people

    Program 3
    Activities:
    1) Tteok making tools and equipments from different period of time
    Exhibition tour with commentator
    2) Two kinds of tteok making practice and tasting
    Participation Fee: 20,000 won
    Recommended for teenagers
    * Minimum number of participants: 20 people

    Program 4
    Activities:
    1) Tteok making tools and equipments from different period of time
    Exhibition tour with commentator
    2) Two kinds of tteok making practice and tasting
    Participation Fee: 30,000 won
    Recommended for college students / foreigners
    * Minimum number of participants: 10 people

    Participants can receive a completion certificate upon finishing this program.
