    90-year-old Former Bank Building Reborn as SHINSEGAE “The Heritage”

    SHINSEGAE Department Store Main Store , one of the most representative shopping centers in Korea, is transforming anew in 12 years. Following the remodeling of the main building into luxury and accessories premium store “The Reserve,” and the new building into F&B and fashion mall “The Estate,” SHINSEGAE group plans to launch the luxury specialty mall “The Heritage” on April 9. Built upon the foundations of the former SC First Bank, The Heritage is garnering much attention as a premier destination that encompasses history, culture, and shopping. The former SC First Bank was originally founded as the Chosun Savings Bank during the Japanese colonial period in 1935, and the building holds a significant value in the Korea's modern history. The building’s transformation reflects SHINSEGAE Department Store’s principles to uphold and pass down cultural and historical legacy. The interior of The Heritage is designed to add a modern touch while preserving the original form for an elegant and luxurious atmosphere. The mall also incorporates a wide range of amenities such as a garden, traditional Korean dessert café, and a gallery for visitors to engage in recreational activities.     Cheong Wa Dae to Hold Arbor Day Commemoration Event!
