    Honeymoon destination chosen by Yonsama

Hallyu star Bae Yong-joon, known by his nickname “Yonsama,” and actress Park Soo-jin made headlines for a while when they decided to honeymoon in South Korea instead of abroad. The couple of the century chose to honeymoon stayed for a week at Southcape Spa Suites in Namhae, a place that costs KRW 10 million per day.

It is a great place for busy modern people to relieve stress and recharge while looking at the sea and garden. The therapeutic spa is especially relaxing, the therapists are skilled, and the artistically handcrafted rammed earth walls are impressive. The music library is another favorite. The Western Electric speakers that are taller than most adults overwhelm the listener with their size and sound. The rich sound produced by the two-meter large speakers is not just for the ears but also the whole body.

Resorts for the world’s top 0.1%

Southcape has created luxury rooms for the world’s super-rich. The Cliff House and Linear Suites are spacious and airy, with sofas by French luxury furniture brand Ligne Roset, Ploum sofas by the Ronan & Erwan Bouroullec, and furniture by Inga Sempe, Pascal Mourgue, Dogg & Arnved, and other renowned designers. Everything you’ll sit on, lie on, or use is of the highest quality, including the wirelessly connected Geneva Sound Systems in each room, Nanimarquina carpets, Duxiana beds, Toto Neorest bidets, and Aesop amenities.

Artworks by world-renowned artists are scattered casually throughout the resort. Watch carefully the Meltdown Chair series by British artist Tom Price. The cobalt color of the “Blue Rope Meltdown” looks like the color of the South Sea, where the resort is located. The “sea urchin chair” and the blue rope chair are free to touch and sit on.

The wood and steel chairs at the front desk are by Enrico Marone Cinzano of the Italian brand B&B Italia, and the table is made from a 47,000-year-old kauri tree from New Zealand. The resort’s signature sculpture, “Volante,” is made of Italian marble by American sculptor Richard Erdman, currently the hottest artist in the art world. The lighting, furniture, and decor throughout Soutscape, including the lighting by New York-based artist Lindsey Adelman, are all works of art.
