On November 15, tourists from Singapore landed in Incheon International Airport after Korea’s VTL (Vaccinated Travel Lane) agreement with the country.

The Singaporean tourists are the first to enter Korea for tourism since the COVID-19 pandemic. The small group of tourists enjoyed delicious foods and sightseeing at many cities such as Nami Island in Chuncheon, Haeundae in Busan, and Hahoe Village in Andong. The group even gave suggestions to add to future tours like a “Squid Game (2021)” themed game using traditional Korean games at Korean Folk Village in Yongin. The tourists visited many main attractions in Korea before returning to Singapore.

With the start of the VTL agreement between Korea and Singapore on November 15, Singaporeans who have completed their vaccinations can enter Korea and receive exemption from quarantine after getting negative results on a PCR test.

For more information regarding the VTL agreement between Korea and Singapore, refer to our Korea Travel Safety Guideline Page.
