Korea Tourism Organization (KTO) is the National Tourism Organization of the Republic of Korea, with offices located worldwide to promote and boost tourism to Korea, so as to make it one of the top destinations in the world.
The KTO Singapore Office is looking for enthusiastic and hardworking individual for the following position:
Position: Admin & Event Executive
Yearly based contract (including 2-months’ probation) | $2,745 ~ $3,026 (commensurate with experience), key responsibilities on the job include:
1) Administrative
- Assisting Director, Deputy director, and Manager in Human Resource and other administrative matters
- Assisting Director, Deputy director, and Manager in management and overseeing of Korea Plaza
- Managing Singapore Office MOM accounts (EPOL, WPOL)
- Handling of incoming and outgoing shipments
- Monthly research information input in TMS (visitor arrival statistics, tour package information, etc.)
- Researching information with regards to Singapore
- Providing support for ad-hoc tasks and events, etc.
2) Korea Plaza
- Assisting the planning of Korea Plaza activities & events
- Any ad hoc activities in relation to Korea Plaza
3) Others
- Providing event support (Travel fairs, Trade events, other events etc)
- Ad-hoc tourism research work
- Assisting in marketing and/or MICE events
- Assisting in the support to K-Startups (Clerical work)
- Other ad-hoc duties (assisting Director, Deputy Director and General Manager)
Applicants should possess the following requirements below:
1) Singaporean citizenship or PR
2) Excellent written and spoken English language
3) Service-oriented, quick learner, team player, good public speaker, IT-savvy
4) Able to commence employment from August 2022
Applicants with the following requirements would have an added advantage:
1) Diploma in any tourism related fields
2) Experience in administrative field
3) Experience in event marketing
4) Basic skill in conversational and written Korean language
5) Knowledge of tourism industry in Korea
Re-contract opportunities are available based on assessment after 1 year.
