An exhibition about traveling in Korea with realistic contents opened on December 16, 2021 and will last until January 30, 2022.
The Korea Tourism Organization opened the exhibition, Local Train-My Travel Diary, in collaboration with LG U+. Visitors can experience traveling in Korea through the various tourism contents.
The exhibition takes place at a multi-cultural complex in Gangnam operated by LG U+ called Daily Teum. The exhibition has various 360-degree VR contents such as gukak (Korean traditional music) and taekwondo performances, famous attractions and their tasteful foods, charms, and joy, and video clips of various attractions and filming locations of popular K-dramas such as “Vincenzo (2021).” “Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha (2021),” and “Secret Royal Inspector & Joy (2021).” There is also a media art content with eight representative attractions of Korea including Seoraksan Mountain and Bulguksa Temple, as well as 215 photos and videos from the Korea Tourism Photo Contest and digital books on display.
The exhibition space is designed like a train using the Local Train-My Travel Diary theme. Visitors can make their own travel diary and fill it with experiences from the exhibition.
The exhibition can also be viewed on the Korea Tourism Organization VisitKorea website and YouTube channel as well as the LGU+ mobile app.
