[Korea] Chuseok Schedule for Attractions & Shops in Seoul Metropolitan Area

Chuseok, one of Korea’s major holidays, is quickly approaching! This year’s Chuseok falls on September 13 (August 15 on lunar calendar), with the day before and after as part of the holidays. This year’s holiday period is from September 12 to September 15, celebrating Chuseok for a total of 4 days, including the weekend. In order to enjoy a convenient vacation during the holiday period, travelers are advised to check the operating schedules of major attractions and businesses in advance.

While many shops and restaurants will be closed on the day of Chuseok (September 13), department stores, franchise restaurants and theme parks in the area of Seoul will mostly all operate throughout the holiday period.
