[Korea] Run along Pink Blossoms at the Gyeongju Cherry Blossom Marathon!

The 28th Gyeongju Cherry Blossom Marathon will be held Saturday, April 6.

With Korea Tourism Organization, Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power Co., Yomiuri Newspaper Western Head Office, and the city of Gyeongju co-hosting the event, the marathon is popular both domestically and internationally. Approximately 1,530 foreigners participated in the marathon last year, making it an international event.

Participants can sign up for the marathon online until this Friday, March 15.

For participants’ convenience, the host will provide a free shuttle bus from Gyeongju Intercity Bus Terminal, Gyeongju Express Bus Terminal and Gyeongju Station from 06:00 to 07:00 in 10-minute intervals.

Participants can enjoy the road lined with cherry blossoms while running the Gyeongju Cherry Blossom Marathon. For detailed information about the marathon, visit the official Gyeongju Cherry Blossom Marathon website.

From April 3 to 7, visitors to Gyeongju can enjoy Gyeongju Cherry Blossom Festival held around Gyeongju Historic Area and Bomun Tourist Complex. This year’s festival will feature cherry blossom concert, busking festival, various cherry blossom experience programs, cherry blossom sports events, and many more.
