Visit Korea : Facebook Quiz Contest

The Korea Tourism Organization presents our Facebook Quiz Contest. Participants are given 5 questions to test their knowledge of Korea and are able to answer once per week. Participants are quizzed on Korean landmarks, culture and tradition, history, food etc. To increase your chances to win, take the Korea Tourism Quiz each week through October 27, and win a trip to Korea, a 42" LG CINEMA 3D Smart TV or a Korean Jewelry box. more
New Brunswick Figure Skating Championship: Skate Canada International 2013

Period: Oct 25 ~ Oct 27, 2013
Location: Harbour Station, Saint. John, New Brunswick

Korea Tourism will be attending the Skate Canada International 2013 in support of Skate Canada. Korea Tourism will be running a promotional tourism booth as well as rink board ads and more as a Gold Sponsor of the event. more
Montreal Salon International Tourisme Voyages 2013

The Korea Tourism Organization will attend Montreal’s SITV from October 25th through 27th. KTO will hold a presentation each day about the “Charms of Korea”. Attendees will also have the chance to chat with Korea Tourism and Korean Air Staff while enjoying a relaxing hand message. more

Changwon Gagopa Chrysanthemum Festival

Location: 46-3, Wollam-dong 1-ga, Masanhappo-gu, Changwon-si, Gyeongsangnam-do

Since its inception in 1960, chrysanthemum farming in Changwon (Masan) has proliferated, accounting for 13% of nationwide chrysanthemum farming. The Changwon Gagopa Chrysanthemum Festival presents numerous exhibitions, cultural programs, food tasting, and many more. more
Icheon Rice Cultural Festival

Period: October 30 ~ November 3, 2013
Location: 167-29, Gyeongchung-daero 2697beon-gil, Icheon-si, Gyeonggi-do

The Icheon Rice Culture Festival celebrates its famous rice and local agricultural practices. Major events of the festival include a re-enactment of the parade that transported rice to Hanseong (the old name for Seoul) for presentation to the king, and the huge rice cauldron that is capable of feeding thousands of people. more
Sunchang Fermented Soybean Festival

Period: October 30 ~ November 3, 2013

Sunchang Fermented Sauce Festival is held every fall at Sunchang, a city of health and longevity. As people get more interested in their health and wellbeing, the hot sauce has become an even greater part of the Korean diet. The venue of the festival is Hot Sauce Folk Village, a Mecca of Sunchang Hot Sauce. more
