Seoul - Past, present, and future in harmony
Only 50 years ago, Seoul was torn apart by the Korean War, but the city quickly rose from ashes to become one of the fastest growing cities in the world.
In 1392, the Joseon Dynasty established Seoul as its capital. After hundreds of years, Seoul turned into a center of politics, economy, and education in Korea. With the economic development drive of the 1960s, it became a megalopolis of over 10 million residents. Today, Seoul is counted as one of the largest cities in the world.
