Development Plan

1) Concept

The project aims to develop an high-quality ocean resort located in Haenam where people can enjoy beautiful seascapes like the glow of the setting sun in the southwestern sea as well as a variety of water sports and golf.

2) Facilities

Culture & Art Zone: Namdo Flower Park, theme parks, soccer fields

Golf Resort Zone: 9-hole golf course, 18-hole Pine Beach Golf Club

Marine World Zone: Marinas, outlet malls, tourist hotels

Seaside Resort Zone: Oceano Beach, accommodations, stores that sell local products

Project Progress

1992.10  The site designated as ‘Tourist Complex’

1994.06  The development plan and the project plan approved

2002.12  The construction of infrastructure started

2006.04  Changes of the construction plan approved

2009.08  The construction of infrastructure and 27-hole golf courses completed

- The privately owned facilities planned to be transferred to the local government

Investment Performance

A total of 321.4 billion KRW invested; 221.8 by KTO, 27.1 by the Korean government, and 72.5 by private investors

Land of 835,000 ㎡ sold, and the rest of 1,512,000 ㎡ remains unsold
