(Jeju=Yonhap News) JeonJihye = The Jeju Free International
City Development Center (JDC), Seoul National University Hospital and the Korean
subsidiary of the Greenland Group signed an MOU for the introduction of the
Jeju Healthcare Town medical facilities, at the Elite Building in Jeju Science
Park, on the morning of the 13th September.
For this reason, the three
parties will take part in the development of the medical facilities, such as
a health examination center and special hospital in which the Greenland Group
JDC expects that MOU will serve as the momentum required to
accelerate the introduction of the major medical facilities within the Healthcare
Jeju Healthcare Town, one of the core parts of the Jeju Free International
City Project, is a residential medical complex that will provide medical services
and allow for sightseeing at the same time.
The medical and leisure
complex will have a medical complex providing state-of-the-art medical services
and a medical research complex, including a medical research and development
center and anti-aging center, built on a 1,539,000 square meter site in Seogwipo-si
(Donghong-dong and Topyeong-dong).
