2012/2013 Winter Season Ski & Snow Festival

Winter in Korea may be cold, but it is a perfect (and the only) time to have fun in the snow. One of the most popular winter activities is skiing, and ski resorts abound throughout Korea. For anyone who has been itching to go skiing on some of the world's greatest slopes or simply to experience snow, the Korea Tourism Organization offers winter travel packages every year during the Ski & Snow Festival period. Read on to find out more about the Ski & Snow Festival, which hundreds of tourists from both cold and warm regions have already attended.

A Ski Trip for Everyone

The Ski & Snow Festival is a winter season event of group tours to two of Korea's major ski resorts: Yongpyong Resort and High1 Resort. Each tour lasts for four days, and includes accommodation, meals, ski lessons for all levels, ski/snowboard competition, and various hands-on experience programs. Also, there will be traditional performances and plenty of opportunities to take pictures against the beautiful backdrop of Korean winter landscapes.

Ski/snowboard lessons and competition, dinner and performances, hands-on experience programs (hanbok wearing, traditional craft, folk games), lucky drawing, ski school certificate ceremony, etc.
