The 2013-2014 Ski Korea Festival

The Ski Korea Festival offers participants the opportunity to experience the top outdoor winter sports of skiing and snowboarding. The festival features ski lessons for various levels, allowing participants to hone their skills on the powder. Fun Ski Festival

The Fun Ski Festival runs from mid-December 2013 to early March 2014 at Yongpyong Resort, Korea’s first ski resort and a venue for a number of international ski competitions. The festival is popular among foreign travelers and residents. Visitors can participate in programs to learn about skiing and snowboarding from professionals. There is also a ski competition, an awards ceremony, fun hands-on programs and performances. Participants are sure to enjoy the charming ambiance and outdoor winter activities at this festival.

Go-Go Ski Festival

The Go-Go Ski Festival is held at High 1 Resort, which offers top-notch facilities and caters to ski and snowboard enthusiasts from mid-December to mid- February, when the winter season is at its peak in Korea. The event is a great opportunity for travelers from Southeast Asia to try skiing or enjoy other activities in the snow. Ski lessons are offered by professionals for a wide range of levels. During the festival, various events include ski competitions, an awards ceremony, performances highlighting the beauty and elegance of Korean culture.

Ru-Ski Festival

The Ru-Ski Festival is a special winter festival held at Yongpyong Resort and High 1 Resort, two of the most popular ski resorts in Gangwon-do Province. The resorts are located in beautiful mountainous regions and have ideal snow for both skiing and enjoying the scenery. The Ru-Ski Festival was created especially for travelers from Russia, who can take part in ski lessons from ski professionals while enjoying the romantic ambiance and winter outdoor sports in Korea. There are a variety of performances and events to enjoy.

Snow Tube Race Festival

Ride a snow tube down a hill blanketed with snow, and you will soon be racing down memory lane with wintery wind all around and the snow beneath you.
