NOLITA
Famous for pasta, the restaurant’s name is an acronym for North of
Little Italy.
The recommended menu includes pescatore, a spaghetti dish with more than 10 seafood ingredients: shellfish,
shrimp, squid, and crab with tasty tomato or cream sauce. It is served in a boat-shaped pizza loaf, which also
tastes great with your after-dinner drink.
Other delicious choices are carbonara (cream sauce, bacon, and egg), grancchio (cream sauce and crab), and low

The mother of an Ewha graduate owns this Korean food restaurant,
serving her customers with the same devotion as to her beloved daughter.
BaB-jeongsik (regular set) is the most popular choice on the menu, which includes soybean paste soup or tofu
soup, nine side dishes including fritters, seasoned pumpkin and bean sprouts, and pan-broiled anchovy. Bibimbap
(steamed rice with assorted vegetables) is also popular.
The tasty yet inexpensive fare has made BaB a university students’ favorite since it opened in 2001. |

Botong Saram
This snack bar is best known for its gyeranmari-bap (rice egg-roll)
and al-bap (fish-egg rice).
The tasty rice egg-roll is made of eight ingredients including steamed rice, ground beef, seaweed, and black
sesame seeds. Formidable in size, these rolls require two bites to finish. The fish-egg rice is Korean style,
containing chopped kimchi.
You can also enjoy various other choices such as ramyeon, naengmyeon (cold noodles), bokkeumbap (fried rice),
kimbap (seaweed sushi), and tonkatsu (Japanese style pork cutlet). |
