N Seoul Tower in Mt. Namsan, a Landmark of Seoul
Rising atop the summit of Namsan Mountain (262 meters) in the heart of Seoul, N Seoul Tower (236 meters) is a prominent city landmark. After opening in 1975, the facility operated solely as a radio transmission tower until opening to the public in 1981. The tower has since been a favorite attraction for both local and international visitors. The multicultural space has an observatory, restaurants, museum, and souvenir shop and is frequented by families, friends and couples for great night views of Seoul or a romantic dining ambience. It is a must visit location for international travelers who are interested in panoramic views of Seoul. The views at night from the observatory are quite remarkable. Trips to N Seoul Tower can also be combined with walks in Namsan Park. Other nearby attractions include the unique Teddy Bear Museum and the Namsangol Hanok Village.
