| Introduction | ||
| CIOFF World Folkloriada is an international folklore festival held every 4 years. It is hosted by International Council of Organizations of Folklore Festivals and Folk Arts (CIOFF). First started in the Netherlands in 1996, the 2012 CIOFF World Folkloriada will be held in Anseong
in Gyeonggi-do Province. Anseong is home to a number of Korea’s representative intangible folk heritages which are still practiced today. It is the home of Namsadang Baudeogi, a leader of the Namsadang School troupe; Kang sun young, the master of the Korean traditional dance Taepyeongmu; and a master artisan of brass wares. The 2012 CIOFF World Folkloriada will offer performances by 60 international folklore teams, exhibitions, and hands-on experience activities. |

| Anseong Mat
Choom Land Pyeongtaek Station (Seoul Subway Line 1). Take Bus 50, 55, 55-1, 70, 370, 370-1 or 380. Get off at Anseong Terminal (안성터미널). Take a taxi from Anseong Terminal to Anseong Mat Choom Land (안성맞춤랜드). Or, from Seoul Express Bus Terminal or Nambu Bus Terminal, take an intercity bus to Anseong. From Anseong Terminal, take a taxi to Anseong Mat Choom Land. |
