Cultural World Heritage Sites

The Cultural World Heritage sites of Korea have been chosen for their outstanding historical value and aesthetically pleasing features. The beautiful Changdeokgung Palace (창덕궁), built in 1405, the historic city of Gyeongju (경주), dating all the way back to 57 B.C., and various burial grounds, tombs, shrines and temples are all recognized as Cultural World Heritage Sites.
