Every one of the 41 lighthouses located along Korea's coast offers fantastic views of Korea's pristine coastline. One of the more popular locations is the Sokcho Lighthouse (속초등대), located in Sokcho (속초), an area famous for it's fish market. Watch the sunrise in the morning and then head down to the fish market where you can pick out your fish and watch it get sliced before your eyes. If you are looking for a more remote experience, head for the quaint Island of Deungdaeseom (등대섬). The lighthouse there was built during Japanese colonial rule and is the only facility on the island.
