|CINUS Danseongsa (씨너스 단성사)|
|Danseongsa, which opened in 1907, was the first movie theater in Korea. It was renovated and reopened in February 2005 with 7 cinemas. The cinema is one of Korea’s historical landmarks, but it is now equipped with cutting-edge facilities. In 2008, it became part of the Cinus brand and is now known as “CINUS Danseongsa”. It now has a total of 10 cinemas with 1806 seats.
Cinus Danseongsa is unique in that it also contains an exhibition where visitors can learn about the history of Korean film. In this cultural place, there is also a mural that depicts 100 people who played a leading role in developing the Korean movie industry. Also, unforgettable scenes from the films that have been screened in Danseongsa are exhibited.
