Introduction
The language institute was founded in 1990 with the purpose of preparing future prospective leaders for the global era. A number of different languages including English, Japanese, Chinese and French programs are also offered along with the Korean language course. This language institute continues to offer language learning opportunities to not only its own students but also the community, including public and private sector organizations, enterprises and the general public.

The Korean Language Course, introduced in 1998, has proven to be an effective program with 30 teachers and some 400 enrolled students as of 2003. This program places emphasis on both the Korean language and a study of its culture, continuing to grow as one of the major language programs in the institute. Experienced staff leverage their training skills and methodology, organizing overnight field trips, speech contests, sports events, an experience of the Korean cuisine as well as other extracurricular activities to offer students direct exposure to the culture and its people.
