| Introduction |
|
| Hwaseomun Gate is the western gate of Hwaseong Fortress, Treasure No. 403. Over the stone Mujigae (rainbow) door is a 1-story tower gate. The Hwaseomun Gate's Ongseong (defensive gate) differs from that of Paldalmun Gate because one side of the Ongseong remains open, forming a crescent shape. |
