| Geumwondang is an eco-friendly, two-story traditional lodging facility. The floors and walls were built entirely with red clay. The columns, girders and rafters were built mostly with pine, or sometimes with sun trees, so a fresh woodland aroma fills t+he house. The house boasts five guest rooms, each of which can accommodate from two to four guests. There is space for 30-40 guests in total, and in fact the entire house, including the living room, can be rented out as a whole if desired. Facilities include TVs, computers with Internet access, air-conditioners, hair dryers, toiletries, and refrigerators.
In front of the house flows Jeonjucheon Stream, and a nearby promenade is lined with beautiful silver grass and reeds. The house is ideal for tourists, as it is situated in close proximity of attractions such as Jeonju Confucian School, Jeonju Traditional Culture Center, Hanbyeongnu Pavilion, Jeonju Eco Museum, and Jeonju Traditional Liquor Museum. |
