Introduction

Hongranmideok, located within the Jeonju Hanok Village, is representative of houses occupied by the Yangban (ruling class). The antique and traditional hanok was named after four children by taking one character from each of their names: Hong, Ran, Mi and Deok. The house has traditional hanok features such as a high ceiling and a gate that reaches the ceiling. After it was renovated, the house now can accommodate large groups or families.

From Jeonju Bus Terminal, turn left and go straight for 250m.
Turn right at Girin-ro Street (기린로), and go straight for 250m whiel staying on the left side.
Take Bus 190, 429 or 486 to Omokdae/Hanok Village (오목대, 한옥마을) Bus Stop.
From the bus stop, turn right and go 150m towards Jeonju Hanok Village (전주한옥마을).
Turn left at Seyeon Gallery (세연갤러리).
Go straight for 20m to arrive at Hongranmideok on the right.
