Introduction

Daemsojung is a traditional house thatwas inhabited by royal families and senior officials during the Joseon Dynasty. Located within the 600-year-old Bukchon Hanok Village, the guesthouse provides easy access to tourist attractions, such as Gyeongbokgung Palace, Jongmyo Shrine, Changdeokgung Palace, Gwanghwamun Gate, Samcheong-dong, Myeong-dong, Insa-dong, and Dongdaemun Market. The owner can communicate in English.

Daemsojung offers three rooms: Daem, So, and Jung. The rooms were renovated in July 2012. Now, they are more charming with traditional decorations, and more comfortable with a bathroom, shower facility, air conditioner, and heating in each room. Cooking, laundry, and internet access are also available. In addition to accommodation, the guesthouse also offers a calligraphy experience program.
