Introduction

Charm House is the third most scenic site of the 8 Scenic Sites of Bukchon Hanok Village. It offers guests easy access to tourist attractions, such as Gyeongbokgung Palace, Changdeokgung Palace, Changgyeonggung Palace, and Jongmyo Shrine. There are a number of craft studios near the house, where you can experience a variety of traditional Korean cultures. It also has various dining and convenience facilities in the vicinity including restaurants, cafes, promenades, and parks. Charm House is composed of a master quarters and a guest quarters, each equipped with a small wood-floored hall and a bathroom. There is also a separate, modern shower facility. The house was renovated in the spring of 2012, offering guests an even more comfortable and private stay.

Directions

Anguk Station (Seoul Subway Line 3), Exit 2.
Take Bus Jongno 02 (종로02) and then get off at Anguk Zen (안국선원).
Go the opposite direction from the bus route for 100m till Gawon Gongbang (가원공방).
Turn left on the little alley way on the right side of Gawon Gongbang building.
At the end of the alley way, turn left and then go for 50m.
Turn right following the street and take the uphill route.
At the end of the hill, go through the white gate to arrive at the Charm House.
