Opened in 1999, the Cinémathèque Busan was
the first film archive facility in Korea. Dedicated to collecting and
preserving the cultural heritage of films and video materials, the Cinémathèque
Busan also includes an exclusive theater and archives. Quality independent art
movies are shown year round, and various video materials are available for
