| Introduction | ||||||||
| First opened in 1946 as a 2-year college, Pusan National University became a 4-year university in 1953. Since the transformation, additional buildings have been added to accommodate the 17,000 students currently studying there. It also has student accommodation for up to 1,787 students. The university has about 100 student clubs and runs many exchange programs, volunteering programs, and language education programs through partnerships with foreign universities. Located at the foot of Geumjeongsan Mountain, it also provides a nature-friendly environment. | ||||||||
