Kunsthalle, named after the German sub-cultural movement, Kunsthalle or 'Art Hall,' is a space designed for active engagement in cultural programs.
Kunsthalle Gwangju opened on August 31, 2010. Built with 29 shipping containers, it is divided into several different sections - performance halls, exhibition halls, and subsidiary facilities such as a library and a bar. A wide range of events featuring artists from home and abroad are regularly held at this innovative cultural center. |
