| Seogwipo is famous for its location on the southern tip of the island, featuring the magnificent Mt. Hallasan and Seogwipo coastline with beautiful cliffs and rock formations. The city came to the forefront of international tourism in 2002 with the construction of the World Cup Stadium and the Seogwipo Tourist Complex. Other tourist spots include Jungmun Beach, Cheonjeyeon Waterfall, Yeomiji Botanical Gardens and Oedolgae (Rock). |
